Link Campaigns
Reciprical and One Way Inbound Links
Google seems to place a high value on inbound links and ranks pages accordingly. The search engines consider a link to your site a “vote” for that website’s “authority” on its subject matter. Therefore, when attaining links, you want to make sure you are getting them from respected sites. Inbound links also help the search engines in determining what your website and business is all about. By using proper anchor text and a combination of phrases to link into your site you will help the search engines understand where and when to rank you better in the search engine results.
There are a few key ways to get those inbound links into your web site. The most obvious is to go out and find websites and businesses that you would like to have linking to you, and then asking for or purchasing the link. Another way is to find websites that offer a reciprical link through an automated form. Something else to consider is to provide something that people will want to link to on YOUR website. Whitemountain Webarts provides consulting for your inbound linking campaigns. We will also run inbound link campaigns for our clients for a montly fee.
A quicker way to the top of the search engines is Pay per click (PPC) advertising. PPC advertising allows you to pay to have your ad listed on the major search engines. They are the sponsored links you might see when you perform a search in a search engine. They usually appear at the top, bottom or right side of the search engine results page (SERP) and are identified as Paid Listings, Sponsored Links, Sponsored Listings, or Featured Listings. Pay per click (PPC) search engines call for you to pay to have your advertisement listed on the major search engines by allowing you to bid on keywords that are related to your business.
